6/21/08 - NOTICE OF CHANGE - California Status Certificates - Effective 6/21/08
California's "new" Certificates of Status will be issued beginning June 21, 2008. All Certificates of Status will include the entity name, entity number, formation or registration date, entity type, jurisdiction, and status, along with language certifying to the specific status of the entity, and will be dated the date the request for the Certificate of Status is processed.
Certificates of Status for limited liability companies and limited partnerships will be generated manually and Certificates of Status for corporations will be generated directly from the database. The Certificates of Status generated from the database will contain the same language as the manually generated certificates but will have a slightly different typeface.
