On Friday, September 22nd, an off-site Employee Recognition event is planned for all employees of the Delaware Division of Corporations. Division personnel will not be available after 11:30 A.M. on this date. As a result, the following changes to priority services for filing submissions will be in effect:
• 30-minute and one-hour priorities must be submitted by 10:00 A.M.
• All two-hour priorities must be received by 9:00 A.M.
• All 24-hour priorities must be received by the state by 12:00 P.M.
Although the Delaware Secretary of State employees will be offsite, UCS will still be able to perform the following services:
• Obtain Good Standing Certificates/Certified Copies/Status checks
• File annual reports and pay franchise taxes
• Obtain Apostilles
• Conduct UCC searches
• File UCC1 and UCC3 electronically
• Submit filings up until 10:29 P.M.
Please keep in mind that there is also the option of submitting documents using September 22nd as the future effective date and receiving the evidence of filing before Friday.
Expect delays for receiving evidence of filing when the state reopens on Monday, September 25th.
Also note that in preparation for the event, on Thursday, September 21st, the night shift for the Delaware Secretary of State plans to adjust their hours from 4:00 P.M. to 12: P.M. to 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Filings submitted after 10:00 PM on this date will possibly not be reviewed until the following day or the following week.
