On Friday, March 20, 2020 an Employee Recognition Event is planned for all the employees of the Delaware Division of Corporations. The 4-12 SHIFT WILL BE WORKING 12 Noon to 8 P.M. and the following changes will be in effect:

  • All 30 Minute and Priority 1 (one-hour service) must be received by 6 P.M.
  • Priority 2 (two-hour service) must be received by 5 P.M.
  • All other cut-off times will remain unchanged.

Note that it is best to provide your documents to UCS at least ten minutes prior the cutoff time so that there is enough time for submission.

UCS can still submit documents after 12pm to secure March 20th as the filing date up until 10:29pm but your evidence will be processed on Monday after higher priorities have been processed. Let us know if you’d like to upgrade the filing on Monday to receive faster turnaround.

Although the state employees will be unavailable, UCS can still perform the following services:

  • Obtain Good Standing Certificates
  • Obtain Certified/Plain copies of charter documents
  • Obtain Apostilles
  • Conduct UCC searches
  • File UCC1 and UCC3 electronically
