The position is for a Legal Support Assistant in our Registered Agent Services Department. Our fast growing company headquartered in White Plains, New York provides a variety of services to the legal industry (e.g., law firms and corporations).

Position summary:

Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, the Legal Support Assistant is responsible for processing legal documents served on corporations. This individual also handles telephone inquiries and requests from clients and performs a variety of daily departmental tasks. The Legal Support Assistant works well with others and effectively participates with team members to meet performance goals.

Essential job functions and responsibilities:

  • Punctuality.
  • Completes all requests in a timely manner according to Departmental procedures.
  • Coordinates research with staff in other branches.
  • Enters and updates information in our database.
  • Quality control of all data entry.
  • Assists the team with ongoing projects, processing transaction work and other daily correspondences
  • Supports day to day operations of the department
  • Reviews Departmental reports and updates statistics on Service of Process.
  • Participates in training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Possess good grammar skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

Education requirement:

  • Associate Degree or related work experience.
  • Minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Legal Process requests preferred.

Position Summary

At UCS, the CSR is the primary point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong customer service skills along with in-depth knowledge of registered agent services. They should possess experience in executing corporate filings such as formations of corporations and limited liability companies as well as coordinating the retrieval of due diligence documents such as certificates of good standing or tax status.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining new client accounts by answering product and service questions; providing information about other products and services
  • Ability to draft various corporate documents ranging from Articles of Incorporation to Certificates of Dissolution
  • Coordinating due diligence searches such as good standing retrieval or UCC searches
  • Practical understanding of corporate terminology & state corporate statutes
  • Overseeing the progress of all requests from inception until invoiced
  • Prioritizing incoming client requests effectively to satisfy individual client needs
  • Efficiently managing timely invoicing for services rendered
  • Generate sale leads
  • Identify and assess customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets

Skills required:

  • Experience as a client service representative in the legal services industry for a minimum of 5 years
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

United Corporate Services, Inc. (UCS) is looking for an experienced Fulfillment Specialist to join our Delaware office.

Position Summary

This position provides administrative support to the Client Service Representatives (CSRs) as well as being a direct point of contact to wholesale clients. It requires the ability to interact with State of Delaware Corporations Division staff in a fast paced environment remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate has experience drafting, filing and retrieving corporate documents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing Delaware document retrieval and filing projects (both corporate and UCC)
  • Drafting certificates of formation or the equivalent
  • Assist in answering phones
  • Reviewing/receiving Service of Process
  • Providing staff with administrative support such as writing evidence letters, handling incoming & outgoing mail,
  • Developing professional working relationship with all UCS correspondents and filing agents
  • Prioritizing daily tasks to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the maintenance of internal knowledgebase

Skills Required:

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and as an individual
