Ensures timely collections and posting of client payments and maintains comprehensive notes on collection efforts. Reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Cash application
  • Make a minimum of 20 collection calls per day
  • Research duplicate payment and issue credits or refunds
  • Manage an assigned portfolio by calling on past due accounts
  • Keep aging at an acceptable level; minimize bad debt.
  • Filing and other clerical duties to support the department
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Other tasks as assigned by AR supervisor and/or Controller

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 0 – 2 years in an accounts receivable role
  • Accurate and fast 10-key skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of a major ERP such Great Plains strongly preferred!
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills

Position Summary

This position provides administrative support to the Branch Manager and members of the Operations staff. It requires the ability to interact with state officials in a fast paced environment remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate has experience drafting, filing and retrieving corporate documents. A notary license and familiarity with the Hague Convention is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing nationwide document retrieval and filing projects
  • Drafting certificates of formation or the equivalent
  • Providing staff with administrative support such as writing evidence letters, handling incoming & outgoing mail, coordinating the payment of correspondent invoices
  • Developing professional working relationship with all UCS correspondents and filing agents
  • Prioritizing daily tasks to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the maintenance of internal knowledgebase
  • Occasional travel will be required

Skills Required:

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and as an individual
  • Excellent writing and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as, computers, copiers, calculators, printers
  • Excellent research skills
  • Notary license a plus
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel

Position Summary

At UCS, the CSR is the primary point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong customer service skills along with in-depth knowledge of registered agent services. They should possess experience in executing corporate filings such as formations of corporations and limited liability companies as well as coordinating the retrieval of due diligence documents such as certificates of good standing or tax status.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining new client accounts by answering product and service questions; providing information about other products and services
  • Ability to draft various corporate documents ranging from Articles of Incorporation to Certificates of Dissolution
  • Coordinating due diligence searches such as good standing retrieval or UCC searches
  • Practical understanding of corporate terminology & state corporate statutes
  • Overseeing the progress of all requests from inception until invoiced
  • Prioritizing incoming client requests effectively to satisfy individual client needs
  • Efficiently managing timely invoicing for services rendered
  • Generate sale leads
  • Identify and assess customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets

Skills required:

  • Experience as a client service representative in the legal services industry for a minimum of 5 years
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
