Client Service Associate/Database Specialist

Position Purpose and Objective:

The Database Specialist is responsible for the overall maintenance of existing Registered Agent records. The Database Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the UCS database and responding to client inquires by phone or email.

Essential Job Functions:

This job description summarizes the primary and essential duties required for this position but are only a portion of all duties. Other related duties may be assigned as needed by management. The responsibilities listed below, under the supervision of management, are as follows:

  • Conduct a needs-based analysis, to determine client status
  • Maintain broad knowledge of database, procedures, and other important issues through management communications, meetings, and formal training
  • Place and/or receive client inquiries
  • Prepare complete accurate work and update client records in the UCS database
  • Communicate effectively with individuals/teams in the department to ensure high quality of client records
  • Effectively transfer client’s requests to Client Service Representative when appropriate.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the client and/or improve work
  • Update client records, addresses and transaction notes
  • Troubleshoot research and analyze clients’ annual billing & statements

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent client service orientation
  • Strong communication, multi-tasking, negotiation skills required
  • Strong computer navigation skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a concise, clear, and focused manner
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes and think conceptually
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Dependable with proficient attention to detail

Salary Range: $35,000 – $43,000
