Effective Sunday, October 1, 2023, the registered agent office address for United Corporate Services, Inc. (“UCS”) in Maine will be changing from 128 State Street, #3 Augusta, Maine 04330 to 100 Second Avenue, Augusta, Maine 04330.
UCS will update all active records of companies that we represent in the State of Maine by filing what is referred to as a “Blanket Filing” certificate for each entity type (Corporation, LLC, LP and GP).
No action with the Maine Secretary of State is required from you. However, please update your internal records such as resolutions, bylaws or templates that contain our Maine address beginning October 1, 2023.
Note that the Maine Secretary of State will not accept filings under the old address beginning October 1, 2023.
What is the new address for our Maine office?

Please note that for that all domestic profit and non-profit Maine corporations should include on the application: Commercial Registered Agent 10117, Debra Bilodeau, c/o United Corporate Services, Inc. For Maine domestic Limited Liability Companies, Limited Partnerships and all foreign entities include on the application: Commercial Registered Agent P10099, United Corporate Services, Inc.

Do companies that UCS acts as registered agent for in Maine have to file a Change of Registered Agent Address Application?
UCS will submit a blanket Change of Registered Agent address certificate to the Maine Secretary of State which will update the registered agent address for all companies represented by UCS. No other action will be necessary.
What happens to my filing if I use the old address after October 1st? Is there a grace period for how long we use the old address?
Maine does not offer a grace period for registered agent address changes. Once they have updated UCS’ address all future filings will be required to contain the new address. If the filing contains the old address the state will return the document unfiled.
