Registered Agent Address Update: UCS New Jersey updates their office address

Effective immediately, the registered agent office address for United Corporate Services, Inc. (“UCS”) in New Jersey has updated its suite number.  The address changes from 80 Main Street, Suite 415 West Orange, NJ 07053 to 80 Main Street, Suite 505, West Orange, NJ  07053.

UCS has updated all active records of companies that we represent in the State of New Jersey by filing what is referred to as a “Blanket Filing” certificate for each entity type (Corporation, LLC, LP and GP).

No action with the New Jersey Department of Treasury is required from you.  However, please update your internal records such as resolutions, bylaws or templates that contain our New Jersey address immediately if United Corporate Services, Inc. is your registered agent in the State of New Jersey.

Note that the New Jersey Department of Treasury will not accept filings under the old address.

Do companies that UCS acts as registered agent for in New Jersey have to file a Change of Registered Agent Address Application?
UCS has submitted a blanket Change of Registered Agent address certificate to the New Jersey Department of Treasury which updated the registered agent address for all companies represented by UCS. No other action will be necessary.

What happens to my filing if I use the old address? Is there a grace period for how long we use the old address?
New Jersey does not offer a grace period for registered agent address changes. Once they have updated UCS’ address all future filings will be required to contain the new address. If the filing contains the old address the state will return the document unfiled.
