Client Service Assistant

Position Purpose and Objective:

This position provides administrative support to the Client Service Representative as well as being a direct point of contact to UCS wholesale clients. The position requires the ability to interact with State of Delaware Corporations Division staff in a fast-paced environment remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate has experience drafting, filing, and retrieving corporate documents.

Essential Job Functions:

This job description summarizes the primary and essential duties required for this position but are only a portion of all duties. Other related duties may be assigned as needed by management. The responsibilities listed below, under the supervision of management, are as follows:

  • Processing Delaware document retrieval and filing projects (both corporate and UCC)
  • Drafting certificates of formation or the equivalent
  • Assist in answering phones
  • Reviewing/receiving Service of Process
  • Providing staff with administrative support such as writing evidence letters, handling incoming & outgoing mail
  • Developing professional working relationship with all UCS correspondents and filing agents
  • Prioritizing daily tasks to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the maintenance of internal knowledgebase

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and as an individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as, computers, copiers, calculators, and printers
  • Excellent research skills
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Subject matter expertise in Corporate/UCC filing and document retrieval process
  • Willingness to develop product and industry knowledge by utilizing training, tools, and resources available
  • Develop solid working relationships with your peers including Client Service Associates and correspondents
