Home Delaware Division of Corporations Closes Early Thursday, August 18th

On Thursday, August 18th, an off-site Employee Recognition event is planned for all employees of the Delaware Division of Corporations. Division personnel will be not available after 10:30 A.M. and there will be no evening shift. As a result, the following changes will be in effect:

  • All 30-minute, one-hour and two-hour priorities must be received by 9:00 A.M.
  • Same Day priority services will be unavailable
  • All 24-hour priority service must be received by 12:00 P.M.

Please note that UCS will be able to submit documents to secure August 18th as the filing date up until 11:59 P.M. but your submission will not be processed until Friday, August 19th under the requested priority service.

Expect delays on receiving evidence when the state reopens.

If you would like to upgrade your submission to faster priority (For e.g., 30-minute, 1-hour, 2-hour or Same Day) to receive evidence of filing on Friday, August 19th please contact your UCS Client Service Representative.

Keep in mind that you also have the option of submitting documents using August 18th as a future effective date if you would like to receive evidence of filing prior to that day.

Although the Delaware Secretary of State employees will be offsite, UCS is still able perform the following services:

  • Obtain Good Standing Certificates/Certified Copies/Status checks
  • File annual reports and pay franchise taxes
  • Obtain Apostilles
  • Conduct UCC searches
  • File UCC1 and UCC3 electronically
