The Delaware Secretary of State will be closed this Friday, April 15th in observance of Good Friday.
Key points to know:
Corporate
• You will not be able to obtain the file date of April 15, 2022 unless prior arrangements have been made.
• April 15, 2022 can be used as a future effective date.
• Filing evidence will not be received on April 15th.
• Good Standings, Certified Copies, and Plain Copies will be available as usual.
• The ability to reserve names, pay franchise tax, confirm good standing status and file annual reports will not be affected by the closure.
UCC
• UCC Filings cannot obtain the April 15, 2022 file date UNLESS they are filed via XML.
• Filing evidence will not be received on April 15th.
• UCC Searches will not be affected by the closure and will be processed throughout the day.
